October's Creative of the Month
Om is a 22-year-old African American multidisciplinary creative, strategist, and full-time art student pursuing a B.A. in Studio Arts at Metropolitan State University, after earning an A.F.A. from Minneapolis Technical College. His practice spans Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Photography, and Marketing, with hands on experience across six internships through The BrandLab, where he contributed to both major in house companies and agency environments including General Mills, 3M, Blu Dot, Betty, Greater Twin Cities United Way, and Houston White.
Art has always been more than a skill for me it’s a way of grounding myself, finding meaning, and giving voice to communities often left out of the conversation. Whether I’m behind a camera, sketching concepts, or developing brand campaigns, I see creativity as a tool for connection and change. My work reflects both strategy and soul. Every photograph, design, and idea becomes a bridge between culture, heritage, and forward thinking storytelling.
