Elke Zimmermann

I launched Studio Abstrakt this year with a series of paintings titled “Borders,” which are a reflection of my multicultural background. I have lived on three different continents and I am fluent in four languages – English, German, Spanish and French. I am using sustainably sourced materials to create and frame my work. I mostly use watercolor pencils but will use pastels on occasion. With the launch of my artistic practice, I also launched a site – studioabstrakt.com – and an Insta account @studioabstrakt.art.
