Brit Sigh

I am working on a collection of paintings surrounding my two characters, Marcus and Khyah. They are both black kids with butterfly wings with unimaginable power, personality, and swag. Throughout the collection I will also paint them interacting with different places and landmarks within the Twin Cites. Through these paintings, I hope to normalize portraying black youth in a positive light in mainstream contemporary art.
