At the moment, I am in an era of experimentation and exploration. There are themes that I have been especially drawn to lately, such as my experience growing up in midwestern poverty, food and its relation to social class, queer history and iconography, how brands affect adolescence and nostalgia, etc. However, I do not have a current large scale project with these themes. I’m taking the time to really think and play with different mediums. At the moment I’m really into using materials that you can easily and mostly affordably DIY. At home printmaking, collage, zines, handmade paper, these are some of my current favorites!
